Here's a powerful but easy strategy for you to generate 313% more revenue for your online DTC brand simply through your welcome flow: When a potential prospect subscribes to your list, it's normally due to 2 reasons: 1. They're interested to know more about you and the products you sell. 2. Or they simply want to grab the 10% discount on their first order IF they subscribed to your list. Here's the twist: A major portion of your subscribers don't even avail their "10-15% off coupon". Which means they never ordered a single product from your store despite you sending them a good gift... At least in one go. This shows that you have to send a few emails their way before they can actually help you make a sale. Here's another twist: About 93% of the companies send out ONLY 3 emails in their welcome flow to those subscribers who haven't made the purchase... Without caring about the potential chances for sales to even happen in the first place. Didn't get what I meant up there...? Allow me to put it in easy words: "You give up too easily." The solution...? Simply put a split condition in the flow (Klaviyo, convert flow, or convert kit) to distinguish between those who've made the purchase and those who haven't. Now for those who haven't made the purchase... Simply send the second in the welcome flow telling them about the origin of your brand... PLUS offering them 15% OFF on their first purchase instead of 10% which would expire before midnight. The point is to drive your audience towards sales. You need the sale and they need the product. If they didn't make the purchase in the second , halt for the next 3 emails. Don't offer any coupon code. Just educate them. Reveal the benefits of your product. Show Reviews. Tell them why experts like your brands by mentioning the link to articles. Then in the 5th , go on offering the coupon code of 10% with the same urgency. Hopefully, the sales will happen by this time. If it doesn't, then send another 3 emails and then the 4th one with the same coupon offer but this time with a 5% discount. Why 5%...? Because by this point, you've got to assume that your subscribers are not interested in the purchase or coupon. But even then, just to stay in a grey area, you're giving them a 5% discount. This gives you lots lots lots of leverage. In short, don't give up too easily. Make sure to write a good copy for at least 10 emails with a powerful call to value in your welcome flow. After doing that, it's just a matter of time till you see a 313% increase in your revenue. PERIOD. P.S.
