My favorite tips for finding deals on cupcake boxes

So, now that we&#;ve covered the best places to buy cupcake boxes and inserts online, let&#;s dive into some of my favorite tips for finding the best deals.

Look for wholesale prices

First, When you&#;re looking for cupcake boxes and inserts, make sure to do some research and compare prices. There are lots of websites that have deals for buying in bulk, which can save you some cash in the long run.

&#;Pro tip: If you&#;re selling cupcakes, don&#;t forget that the cost of packaging is included in what you charge. So the more you save now, the more money you&#;ll get to keep later.

How to get free shipping on cupcake boxes

Look for websites that offer free shipping, since It can really help you save some extra cash.

&#;Here&#;s a tip: Check to see if the store offers free shipping for orders above a certain amount. If your order doesn&#;t meet that minimum, just add a few more things to your cart to reach it.

Look for a store with a wide selection of boxes

You want to find a website that offers a wide selection of boxes and inserts to ensure you can find the perfect packaging for your cupcakes. Don&#;t buy what you don&#;t need!

&#;My favorite tip&#; skip the inserts if your cupcakes are sturdy and don&#;t need them!

Types of cupcake boxes

Now that you know the best places to score a deal on cupcake boxes, it&#;s time to think about the best cupcake box for your needs. Here&#;s a run-down of some of my favorite styles of cupcake boxes.

Custom cupcake boxes

Custom cupcake boxes allow you to personalize the packaging with your own design or logo. They are ideal for bakers who specialize in cupcakes because you will need to purchase custom cupcake boxes in larger quantities.

Individual cupcake boxes

Individual cupcake boxes are perfect for gifting or selling individual cupcakes. If you sell at farmer&#;s markets or pop-up events, individual cupcakes are a great way to introduce new customers to your treats!

Clear cupcake boxes

Clear cupcake boxes allow the beauty of your cupcakes to shine through. I love using these when I sell at the farmer&#;s market.

Stumpy standard cupcake boxes

Stumpy standard cupcake inserts are ideal for holding big cupcakes securely in place. They are a bit shorter than your average insert, so you don&#;t have to worry about grabbing the frosted part of a cupcake when you reach in and take one.
Twenty-four cupcake boxes

Lastly, twenty-four cupcake boxes are great for larger orders or events. If you don&#;t plan of serving the cupcakes from their boxes, then you can save a few dollars and skip the window box.

Use cupcake inserts to help your cupcakes stay in place

In addition to cupcake boxes, cupcake inserts are also essential for keeping your cupcakes secure during transport. Inserts get placed inside the cupcake box and hold your cupcakes in place.

Look for punch partitions that are the exact shape of the cupcake you are packaging. Here&#;s a tip: Check the height of the cake part. You can order a  tiered punch partition with the right depth so that the frosting doesn&#;t touch the insert.

Innovative cupcake packaging solutions

What if you find yourself with a last-minute cupcake order and you don&#;t have the right box? Here are a few tips to help in a pinch:

Cupcake Packaging Hacks

&#;&#;Use a cake or cookie box with a cake pad inside. Cake boards and cake pads provide a sturdy base for your cupcakes.

&#;&#;You can re-purpose packaging boxes for your cupcakes. Recycled Strawberry containers hold two cupcakes. Just add a new label and &#;viola!

&#;&#;Need a clear cupcake container for your next bake sale? Just Invert A 12 oz clear cup & flat lid and use the lid as the base and the cup as the cover. make your cupcakes stand out.

Different Images for 6 Hole and 12 Hole Cupcake Boxes

I'm relatively new to setting up variations on Amazon Seller, and I'm facing issues with my current setup. I've created a parent product and added two variations for selling cupcake boxes:

6 Hole cupcake boxes

12 Hole Cupcake Boxes

These products are quite similar but require different images and information.

My initial mistake was in choosing the variation family. I selected the following dimensions:

Number of Items

Item Shape

Capacity

Part Number

Unfortunately, I thought "Part Number" would be the key dimension for variations. However, the problem is that when customers select either 6 Hole or 12 Hole, they see the same images displayed, which are those of the "winning child" (in this case, the 6 Hole variation). I need to display different images for the 6 Hole and 12 Hole variations, along with some distinct information.

I reached out to Amazon Seller Support, and they informed me that "Part Number" is a "Non-Visual Dimension," meaning it won't allow for different images. This is where my progress with Amazon support ended.

Here are my specific queries:

What variation family should I be using to achieve the desired outcome? I'm aiming for a variation selection similar to this example: [https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XFH7TF6/ref=twister_B06XFFC3V9?_encoding=UTF8&th=1].

If it is possible to achieve the above, can I edit my current parent and children to make it work, or will I need to start from scratch?
